United Kingdom Crowd Management Association (UKCMA)
The United Kingdom Crowd Management Association (UKCMA) was formed in 2001 to represent the interests of commercial organisations whose primary business is providing crowd management and event security services. Now 22 years on, the association has become the pre-eminent voice of authority in matters related to crowd management and associated practices in the UK.
The UKCMA represents the sector’s top performing professionals and provides a forum for all members to discuss progressive views, to engage similar minded associations and to address emerging challenges.
The UKCMA membership gives voice to the tens of thousands of security professionals within the events industry, whose views might otherwise not be heard.
The UKCMA connects its members with key industry decision makers in areas that affect policy and the practice of crowd management; by connecting quality suppliers to event buyers; by improving standards across the industry in the areas of training, code of conduct, code of practice and industry representation on matters that make a difference to UKCMA members and their businesses.
Most importantly the UKCMA is proud to have had a significant, positive impact on the training undertaken and standards achieved in delivering services relating to public safety.
