THE POWER OF EVENTS (UK) is a not-for-profit company established to deliver a comprehensive platform that for the first time provides an overview showcase of the UK Events Industry. It will also provide event analysis and data evaluation to support the UK events community.

The event industry’s reliance on data to help it plan for the future, increase its resilience, manage risk and justify investment decisions, is growing year on year.

The engagement and access that The Power of Events (UK) has across all 7 sectors of the industry, enables data gathering and in-depth research projects to be delivered confidently and consistently. This will be primarily facilitated through the new insight app to be launched on 28th Sep 2023.

By bringing the industry and university partners together, research projects will be designed to deliver real benefits to the industry in terms of trend analysis, insights and performance improvements.

INFILED AP SERIES SUPPORT VISUALS FOR 2NE1’S CONCERT IN KUALA LUMPUR
In February 2025, DC Zon Entertainment developed a remarkable stage display solution for the Welcome Back Tour of the K-pop girl group 2NE1 at the Malaysia National Hockey Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. The event showcased the quartet delivering an outstanding selection of over 20 songs, highlighting their musical diversity and captivating stage presence. The performance was further enhanced by a meticulously crafted stage design, which incorporated INFiLED AP series LED screens.

Fast Forward15 Mentoring Awards
We are excited and honoured to announce the inaugural Fast Forward15 Mentoring Awards. This exclusive celebration aims to showcase exceptional mentors, mentees, corporates, agency and suppliers that have had a profound impact on the growth and development of talent within the events and hospitality sector. These awards are open to all genders, and all organisations across the sector, including in-house corporate event teams. Scheduled for 24th April 2025, this first-of-its-kind awards ceremony will honour outstanding contributions to mentoring. The Fast Forward15 Mentoring Awards will feature a three-course dinner, a prestigious awards ceremony, and ample networking opportunities.

ABPCO Festival of Learning 2025
The Festival of Learning is ABPCO’s educational flagship event providing a key moment for the association events community to come together to network, share and most importantly to learn. Now in its fourth year, the festival will be taking place in person on Tuesday 29 April 2025 at the Eastside Rooms in Birmingham. As well as a full day of learning, the event includes a networking supper and the new event innovation hub the evening prior (see the schedule page for more details). We’re expecting over 150 event professionals and will be exploring the theme – Connect, Collaborate and Challenge.
