Prescot Festival of Music & the Arts

Prescot Festival of Music and the Arts is a 10-day festival of arts, entertainment, culture and heritage around the historic Lancashire town of Prescot, Merseyside. It is a not-for-profit community-led organisation. Prescot Festival is encompassed by Arts in Prescot, an umbrella group which organises and promotes a year-round programme of arts within the Knowsley area of Merseyside. The aims of the Prescot Festival are to be accessible by welcoming everyone, to be affordable by charging the minimal possible ticket price, and to be all-encompassing, embracing all types of art and music. The Prescot Festival began in 2005. Since then it has undertaken amazing work by improving the arts and cultural provision in Prescot. The event industry’s reliance on data to help it plan for the future, increase its resilience, manage risk and justify investment decisions, is growing year on year.

The engagement and access that The Power of Events (UK) has across all 7 sectors of the industry, enables data gathering and in-depth research projects to be delivered confidently and consistently. This will be primarily facilitated through the new insight app to be launched on 28th Sep 2023.

By bringing the industry and university partners together, research projects will be designed to deliver real benefits to the industry in terms of trend analysis, insights and performance improvements.
